Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PS4/Xbox One Fall 2017, debut trailer to air this Thursday

Rockstar finally did it. This morning they announced Red Dead Redemption 2, coming to PS4 and Xbox One during fall 2017.

The game is said to have an atmospheric story mode as well as a brand new online multiplayer component. This marks Rockstar’s first original game for this generation of consoles and second overall after the port of GTA V to Xbox and PS4 in November 2014.

The company will release the world debut trailer this Thursday. The title i lies that the original cast of characters, including John Marston, may be returning. This is the first Red Dead game to have a number in its title after Red Dead Revolver and the first Redemption.

The game is rumored to be a prequel which knowing how the last game ended it sorta has to be. Hopefully the game lives up to 7 years of hype and that if the characters from Redemption are returning that Rockstar got all the original voice actors.
