Deep Silver says Dead Island 2 is still in development

After years of development he’ll, Deep Silver has told Eurogamer that Dead Island 2 is still in development.

The game switched studios after a turbulent 2015 an in 2016 Sumo Digital took over. The developer of Spec Ops: The Line was pulled off the project back in the summer of 2015.

Sumo is a very good developer so I have high hopes that Dead Island 2 can become the sequel fans wanted after the original game and Riptide disappointed.
