Diablo III getting necromancer in 2017, remade versions of original Diablo’s levels
You thought you were done with Diablo 3, didn’t you? Well after 4 years, Blizzard is bringing the Necromancer to Diablo III: Reaper of Souls.
This new character is inspired by Necromancer in Diablo 2. This new character will come to Diablo 3 sometime in 2017 in the former of a character pack. This isn’t the only big Diablo news to come out of Blizzcon!
To celebrate the original Diablo’s 20th anniversary, Blizzard will be remaking the original game in The Darkening of Tristram expansion. This add-on will offer a 16-level dungeon where you battle bosses from the original game. This expansion will actually be available in the game’s public test realm next week so its coming sooner than you would think.
The original game literally launched on New Year’s Eve 1996. You’ve got to think it would be a helluva good time for people who played the original on New Year’s 96 to play this redone content on New Year’s now in 2016. An added bonus is that The Darkening of Tristram will be entirely free so long as you have Reaper of Souls or one of the console versions. So a new character, a major free expansion for Diablo 3. Seems good to me!
