Sony Announces Partnership With Kojima, Next Game PS4 Exclusive

Today Sony confirmed the rumors today, saying they have entered into a partnership with Hideo Kojima’s new studio, Kojima Productions.

They announced this in the video below.

Whatever Hideo’s next game is, it will be PlayStation only. Sorry Xbox only fans. This isn’t entirely unexpected, it would have been weird to see such a prominent Japanese figure work with an American company. 

It’s good to see Kojima finally free from Konami. Sony funds games that aren’t meant to make large profits all the time so he will have full creative freedom.
