Yoshi’s Woolly World will be harder than Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Nintendo isn’t aiming it at kids

Kirby’s Epic Yarn was often criticized for being far too easy and aimed at younger players. Nintendo and Good Feel won’t repeat this with Yoshi’s Woolly World despite what fans may have feared. Nintendo says:

With Yoshi’s Woolly World, we don’t intend it to be for younger players…we were going to make it a Yoshi game. The courses beyond what we have on the show floor will get more challenging. And if you try to get all the collectibles, you’ll find it pretty challenging. It’ll push back.

That’s good to hear. I’d love to see a challenging 2D platformer a la the original Yoshi’s Island with the beautiful art style that Good Feel has chosen.
