Sunset Overdrive will be 900p, 30 frames per second
Insomniac Games has revealed that their upcoming Xbox One exclusive, Sunset Overdrive, will run at 900p and 30 frames per second.
Insomniac says:
If you play the game and see the experience, we are pretty comfortable where we are in terms of frame rate and resolution wise. We rather just focus on optimizing what you can see on the screen and that we think will create a better experience overall.
Overall its a little disappointing to see the game not land at 1080p but at least its better than 720p.
900p or not, Sunset Overdrive is a visually pleasing title that is up their with the best looking next-gen titles. The art style in particular is eye catching though Overdrive looks like an absolute blast to play.
