Medal of Honor: Warfighter releasing this October

Medal of Honor's reboot gets a sequel.

(Feb. 24, 2012)- Fans of EA’s Medal of Honor series will be served up a sequel to 2010′s Medal of Honor reboot this October on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The new MOH game has been uncovered by Game Informer.

Danger Close is making the sequel. They made the single player campaign for the original (not the original MOH, but the original modern MOH, err… nevermind) but EA’s famed developer DICE managed the multi-player. This time Danger Close will be handling the multi-player themselves without DICE’s aid.

One thing that has been striking everybody as odd is the choice of subtitle. Ubisoft is known for its acclaimed shooter series Ghost Recon which had two installments subtitled Advanced Warfighter.

If Hollywood is running out of original ideas for movies it appears the gaming industry is running out of original game titles. All joking aside, the game will use the Frostbite 2.0 engine which blew minds when it powered last year’s Battlefield 3.
