PS Vita games will be cheaper to download from PSN.

(Jan. 31, 2012) — In a move that surprises no one, Sony is offering a discount on software for PS Vita software purchased and downloaded from the PS Store.
At this time there is no official set discount for titles, however Best Buy has shed some light on the prices of digital copies of PS Vita games.
Yea, that is pretty disappointing. While this isn’t confirmation of any discounts, or that discounts would stay as small $5 for all titles isn’t confirmed either it is still disheartening.
The PSP Go pushed digital distribution heavily back in 2009, and failed miserably. One factor was the lack of a real difference in prices between retail copies of PSP games and prices on the PS Store.
If PS Vita games are discounted by $5 only, that is still a boon for gamers. Even if it is a small amount, I guess Sony doesn’t have to give us one in the first place.
