Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword turns your Wii on again November 20th.

It turns out you will stop playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and many other non-Wii holiday releases to play your Wii again folks.

Seriously though, as a long time Zelda fan who has wanted a Zelda game that was actually designed for the Wii and only the Wii system in mind since November 19th, 2006 I’m happy to tell you that on November 20th, 2011 we will do just that.

Skyward Sword is making some changes with Zelda. Link can run and jumping appears more useful, Link’s sword is pretty much 1:1 with your hand movements via Wii Motion Plus, as well as being the first console Zelda in a long time where Ganondorf was not the vilian.

I’d think this also helps narrow down a release date for Super Mario 3D Land for the 3DS as well. I doubt Nintendo would release Skyward Sword and Mario 3D Land on the same day, so I believe Nov.13th and Nov.6th are much more likely for that 3DS blockbuster.
