Rumor: Bandai Namco developing Metroid Prime 4, Ridge Racer for Switch

Eurogamer is reporting that Bandai Namco isndeveloping Metroid Prime 4 with Nintendo. Specifically, they say Namco’s Japan studio is working on the game.

The studio is said to employ former Lucasarts developers, some of which worked on Star Wars 1313 before it was cancelled in 2013.

Namco’s Singapore studio is supposedly working on another Switch exclusive, which LinkedIn profiles of various staff members indicate that it may be a new Ridge Racer game.

These are just rumors though Eurogamer has a good track record with Switch related rumors this generation. Nintendo has yet to reveal who the developer of Metroid Prime 4 is though Namco makes sense. They did help with Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS so there is an established relationship. Hopefully Nintendo lets us know in the near future.
