Stardew Valley is running on Vita, may release this year

A Stardew Valley fan has posted a conversation with Stardew Valley support (with developer Concerned Ape) that has revealed that the popular PC/console farming sim is running on PS Vita.

They say that the game is running on Vita but needs more optimization to be released. Currently, the team is working on multiplayer for Stardew Valley and finishing the Nintendo Switch version which is set to release this summer.

There is a notoriously small amount of people working on Stardew Valley, so the multiplayer and Switch versions are taking up most of their time.

The game released in early 2016 to rave reviews on Steam and was released in December on PS4 and Xbox One.

So Vita owners could get the game if the developer has enough time to optimize the game for the platform. They do say they hope to get this done this year though there is a chance it slips until 2018.

Better late than never!
