Uncharted 4 delayed two more weeks until May 10th

Sony and Naughty Dog have announced that Uncharted 4 is receiving a third delay. This time its only two weeks.

Instead of releasing on April 22nd, which was its release date after being pushed back from March 18th, the game will hit stores on May 10th.

Sony says this is an effort to manufacture more copies of the game. They say it should be going gold later this month. Here’s what Sony said:

As you know, Naughty Dog is wrapping up production on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End with the game on track to go gold and into production later this month. In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time.

This is an unfortunate delay but understandable. At this point its kinda comical how many times the game has gotten pushed back. This works great for the folks at Remedy, they will have April all to themselves in the media to promote Quantum Break.

Hold on folks, Nathan Drake’s final adventure is almost here.
