PS4/XB1/PC get first person mode in Grand Theft Auto V

Rockstar and Take Two have revealed a big new feature for GTA V on PS4/Xbox One/PC. This version of the game will have a full first person mode in both the single player and multiplayer. Yes, that means you can replay the whole game as a FPS. Multiplayer modes will separate those who opt for first person away from those who prefer to play in third person.

Here’s the game’s latest trailer, revealing the change:

Other notes from today’s media blowout on GTA V is that both the Xbox One and PS4 versions will run at native 1080p and 30 frames per second. Additionally, the Dual Shock 4’s speaker will play the radio in-game and cell phone conversations. PS4 users will be able to cycle through weapons more easily with the Dual Shock 4’s touch pad.

Only two more weeks until Rockstar re-unleashes GTA V on the US on PS4 and Xbox One! Today’s news must make the wait for PC players that much harder.
