GameStop jacks up price of Cubic Ninja due to 3DS homebrew exploit

A few weeks ago, the forgotten 3DS retail game Cubic Ninja was discovered to be an entry point for homebrew.

Before this news was made public, Cubic Ninja regularly sold for only $4.99 at GameStop used. Now, the critically panned game, is selling for $39.99 at GameStop used. That’s a price hike of $35! The game has a rating of 4.2 out of 10 from GameStop users, by the way.

There is no way this isn’t due to the news of the game containing exploits to allow homebrew to run on the 3DS. GameStop is capitalizing on this news and over-charging for an old game.
