Xbox 360 getting $50 price cut Oct. 7th, new SKU outed
It looks like the premium Xbox 360 SKU is getting a price cut. Wal-Marts ad for 9/14 through 9/20 has leaked out and it contains a very interesting, cheaper 360 HDD model.
Check it out:
This new unit represents a price cut and value increase over the older 250GB, $299 Xbox 360 unit. Often the 250GB was sold in weekly sales by retailers at $250 but its MSRP has always been $299.
This new bundle comes with a blue console, Call of Duty Ghosts and Black Ops 2, a 500GB Hard Drive and will sell for only $249.99. That isn’t a temporary sale price, the ad suggests that this is the system’s overall price. You would have to think a price cut for the 4GB model should happen soon. This new model won’t ship until October 7th so Microsoft has got a while to make the announcement official.
