Ubisoft games selling twice as much on PS4 than XB1

Last generation, a large portion of multiplatform games would sell better on Xbox 360 than PS3. This trend appears to have been reversed, with a majority of major third party games selling better on PS4 than Xbox One.

Ubisoft says that this trend continued with them. 36% of all their game sales from April through June were on PS4, with only 17% on Xbox One.

Watch Dogs also sold over 50% of its copies in its debut week on PS4, a sign that consumers are buying multiplatform games this generation on PS4.

Larger sales on PS4 make sense as the system has 9 million owners whereas there are only 5 million Xbox One consumers out there.
