No Man’s Sky hitting PS4 before PC, developed by only 7 people

No Man’s Sky has been turning a lot of heads since its reveal at VGX last year. It has won a lot of Best of E3 awards and will make its console debut on PS4 sometime in 2015.

Now Hello Games says the PS4 version will release before the PC version, saying recently:

The wording is we’re doing a console debut on PS4. The thing that that leaves open is a PC version. If I’m honest, we’re taking on quite a lot at the moment. We’re definitely coming to PS4. I would like to come to PC. Whether that arrives the same day – we’re a small team!

Sadly there is still no word on No Man’s Sky coming to any other platforms, Nintendo and Xbox included. PC and PS4 are the only confirmed platforms and even then PC will get it later than Sony’s console.

It doesn’t surprise me that Hello Games is going to take so long with the PC version since they only have 7 people working on the game. They only have 10 employees total!

If No Man’s Sky works out, Hello Games will show up major publishers like EA, Ubisoft, and Activision by delivering a quality AAA game with less than a dozen people when those publishers require teams of hundreds to get something big out the door.
