Xbox doing something special at E3, ‘first time ever’ for it

Microsoft says they’re doing something at E3 that’s never been done before. What this is no one knows just yet.

In his weekly podcast, Major Nelson made this announcement but was very cryptic about what it could be.

It’s going to be the first time this has ever been done at E3. Ever.

I have no idea what this could be. At first I thought that maybe they’ll release demos of E3 games on 360/Xbox One but they did that years ago, so it can’t be that.

This sounds like it goes beyond a simple game announcement. Maybe they’ll let fans vote on what they want to see live during the conference? That’s the only thing I could think of.

Maybe they’ll pit die-hard fans of Mega Man and Shenmue in a ring and the fans that walk out alive after a grueling deathmatch will win a chance for Microsoft to fund the development of a new installment in those franchises?

All kidding aside, this is some exciting stuff from Microsoft and I truly have no idea what it could be. Maybe they’ll stream a playable build of Halo 5 to Xbox One systems using the cloud?
