Bluepoint Games: Titanfall on 360 has everything the XB1/PC versions do
We’ve finally got some details on Titanfall on Xbox 360. The last-gen version was suppose to release along side the Xbox One and PC versions on March 11th originally. Then it got delayed two weeks later to March 26th and a second time to April 11th.
There is still no footage of the Xbox 360 version to be found online. This worries a lot of fans though Microsoft might be holding out so they can sell more Xbox One units.
Daryl Allison, Senior Producer at Bluepoint Games (the company porting Titanfall to 360) revealed a few details on the last-gen version of Respawn’s new IP earlier today:
Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is the true experience: all the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, you name it, found in the Xbox One and PC versions. The game looks great, sounds great, and above all it plays great. There are of course some technical differences that are due to the technical limitations of the hardware – for example, the game runs above 30fps – but rest assured, the intense 6v6 wall-running, titan dropping action is all there.
Of course I’m expecting a big visual downgrade and sub-HD resolution. Still, I hope the 360 version ends up being good as I know a lot of people who can’t afford Xbox One’s or competent gaming PCs but have 360s.
We’ll have to wait and see how Titanfall 360 ends up. In 7 days we’ll find out as it finally hits store shelves.
