It was rumored yesterday but now its official. The Last of Us has been delayed from its original May 7th release date until June 14th.
Neil Druckman, Creative Director at Naughty Dog confirmed this delay on the Playstation Blog today by saying:

The extra wait will be very short and your patience will be rewarded. Update your calendars. You won’t even have to change seasons. The Last of Us will be available June 14th, 2013. Until then, know that we will be working extremely hard to deliver an experience that matches your high expectations.

Not that big of a deal for me personally. If the game needs another month to ensure that its the best experience possible then I have no issue with this delay.
I'm sure this also will help Sony fill time with a new Last of Us demo at their E3 presentation too.
