Mega Man 11 announced

Capcom announced today a slew of Mega Man games. First up is Mega Man 11. The game is 2.5D and looks a lot like what Mighty No. 9 should have been. You can watch MM11’s debut trailer at this link.

Mega Man 11 will release on PS4, Xbox and Switch in late 2018.

In addition to this, a Mega Man X Collection will release sometime in 2018 on the same platforms, PS4, Xbox and Switch.

Finally, Capcom will release their previous Mega Man Legacy Collections on Switch in 2018. The Switch versions wil have some Amiibo support. Capcom famously opted to not support the Switch that much out of the fate, only releasing a 3DS Monster Hunter port in Japan and Ultra Street Fighter II.

This has been a good year for some of gaming’s most tortured fans. We got a few Mega Man collections, Mega Man 11 and new 2D/3D Metroids.
