Capcom COO confirms more Switch games coming in 2018, including Ace Attorney

In a recently released interview with Jiji in Japan, Capcom COO Haruhiro Tsujiro revealed that the company has several new Nintendo Switch games in the works for next year.

They plan on releasing these games after April 2018. Tsujiro confirmed that one of the franchises they are bringing to Switch is the Ace Attorney series.

Capcom released Ultra Street Fighter II in Japan and America this past May on Switch and Monster Hunter XX in Japan only. They have infamously bet wrong, thinking the Switch wouldn’t be as successful as it has ended up being and not bringing several of their key PS4/Xbox games to the system despite the console being a good fit for them.

Games like Okami HD, the Disney Retro game collections and Marvel vs Capcom Infinite all seemed like good games to bring to Nintendo’s hybrid system. It looks like Capcom, like many publishers, have been caught flat footed on the Switch.
