Nintendo: SNES Classic production ‘dramatically increased’

Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime told The Financial Times that while the pre-order situation for the SNES Classic was problematic, that gamers should not expect supply issues when it releases later this month.

Reggie “strongly” urges you to not overbid on a SNES Classic and says that the company has “dramatically increased” production of the micro-retro console. He says that the low supply of the NES Classic last year was due to forces “outside” of the company’s control.

Hopefully Reggie is right and consumers are able to get their hands on the $79.99 SNES Classic when it releases on September 29th.
