Latest South Park RPG difficulty changes based on created character’s skin color

Often delayed comedy RPG South Park: The Fractured But Whole will release on PS4 and Xbox One next month. Never one to shy away from controversies and making statements, the game will actually change the color of the player’s skin based on the difficulty level they choose.

When players are creating a character, if they choose the easier difficulty options the player’s created character will have their skin become lighter. If the player chooses a harder difficulty, the player’s character will have darker skin.

During the character creation process, Eric Cartman will say, “Don’t worry, this doesn’t affect combat. Just every other aspect of your whole life.”

This is, of course, a joke on how everyday life is infinitely more difficult for people of color or darker skin. I know many people will not like this but personally, I think its funny and on point. #Shotsfired.
