Sonic Mania PC version delayed two weeks, watch the stunning opening cinematic

Sega announced in a bizarre live stream today that the PC version of Sonic Mania will not make its release date this Tuesday.

Instead the PC version will release, digitally of course, on August 29th. This will push it to two weeks after the Xbox, PS4 and Switch versions.

The game has already leaked out ahead of schedule so beware of spoilers on the internet folks. If you want to spoil the opening animated cut scene for Mania, you can watch it in the video below. I’ve only seen still images of it and it looks gorgeous though I’m going to wait to watch the full thing on Tuesday.
