No More Heroes sequel announced for Switch, crossover with indie titles like Hotline Miami
Suda 51 and Grasshopper announced a sequel to the Wii classic action game, No More Heroes, for Nintendo Switch. The game is being built with Unreal Engine 4 and will star Travis Touchdown again. It will be called Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.
The game isn’t just a sequel though. Through a collaboration with various indie developers, Travis will be sucked into the game worlds of different franchises. In the game’s debut trailer, Travis was sucked into the world of Hotline Miami. Six different games will appear in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes and Mr. Touchdown will have to beat each game’s respective boss.
It isn’t clear if the game is a 3D action game at this moment or a 2D action title, like the games it takes inspiration from. I would think that since it uses Unreal 4, that it would be a 3D title that re-imagines 2D games like Hotline Miami in full 3D.
As is, this is an exciting development for the Nintendo Switch. Watch the game’s debut trailer in the video below.
