Minecraft ‘Better Together’ update delayed until later this year

The highly anticipated Better Together update for Minecraft, which will allow Windows 10, Xbox One, mobile and Nintendo Switch players to play together despite owning different platforms, has been delayed.

Microsoft says the update, which will be free, will release later this year instead of by the end of the summer next month.

About the ongoing issues with getting Sony to allow cross platform play on PS4, Microsoft’s Minecraft FAQ was updated today to just say that they are still working on it.
