Insomniac’s Spider-Man will be 4-6 times the size of Sunset Overdrive
A slew of new details for Insomniac’s Spider-Man have emerged this week from E3.
First off, the game will star Peter Parker but Miles Morales will play a major role in the game, as seen in the demo shown during Sony’s E3 conference. Spider-Man will be a single-player only affair and will be mostly open world. The game world will be 4 to 6 times the size of the map of Sunset Overdrive, Insomniac’s impressive 2014 Xbox One exclusive.
The game will not be as QTE focused as the demonstration during Sony’s conference, Insomniac says. These QTEs will be reserved for cinematic moments, they say. Spider-Man will be 23 years old during the game and have had his superpowers for 8 years. Kingpin and Mr.Negative will not be the only villains in the game, implying that there will be some sort of Arkham Asylum style assortment of baddies.
Sadly, we’ll have to wait until 2018 to play Insomniac’s take on the web-head.
