Bethesda not developing Elder Scrolls VI right now
Bethesda’s Peter Hines told PC Gamer at e3 today that the company is nkt developing a sixth installment in the Elder Scrolls franchise at the moment.
Specifically, Hines says Bethesda has at least two big games to finish production on before they get to making Elder Scrolls 6.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim launched the series into new territory as a huge sales success after the franchise flew a bit under the radar with Morrowind and Oblivion, to a lesser extent.
I’m not sure I believe Hines when he says they aren’t developing it at the moment though it could only be in conceptual stages. It does look like we’re in store for several more years of Skyrim ports.
