Xbox to offer self-service refunds of digital games

Microsoft has been taking a lot of positive steps in terms of policies and practices this generation after fumbling in 2013. They stopped bundling Kinect with the Xbox One, changed their indie game development policy (though it could still use some work) and now they are adding the self-service refunds to Windows 10 and Xbox One.

These self-service refunds work just like game refunds on Steam. If you’re not happy with a digital game you bought, purchased it less than 14 days ago and played 2 hours or less you can get your money back for the game.

They will be testing this new feature in the Xbox Insider Preview Program soon and it should become available to the public sometime in the future.
