Microsoft is giving away a free year of Xbox Live Gold to retail employees. Employees who work at a retailer that sells Microsoft products (Best Buy, Wal-Mart, GameStop, etc) can take a short quiz called the “Xbox One Accreditation Assessment” and they will be giving a code that they can redeem for 12 months of Xbox Live Gold instantly.
If you don’t work at a retailer than this deal doesn’t mean much to you. You have to have already verified your employment with Microsoft. If you haven’t all you have to do is upload a copy of a current paystub and you’re set.
The quiz itself is short and very, very easy. It asks pretty obvious questions that anyone who has been following the Xbox One since it was revealed would know. Get on this deal fast because only the first 30,000 people to complete it will get a XBL Gold code.
