Beyond: Two Souls can be played through entirely on iOS/Android devices

David Cage of Quantic Dream confirmed at the Eurogamer Expo today that people who buy their latest game, Beyond: Two Souls, can play the entire game through on their iOS/Android device. For real, you don’t even need your PS3 to play it if you so desire.

It connects to the console via Wi-Fi, and from this point you can play the entire game, in single-player if you want, just using your iPhone … just with one finger. It’s a very simplified interface [and] makes the game very passive and simple

Beyond comes out in just a few weeks on PS3. I’m not entirely sure but it appears that you still need to buy the PS3 version and have a PS3 console, obviously. This is quite laughable that Sony couldn’t get the game running via remote play on one of their handhelds yet Quantic Dream gets it running on other mobile platforms.

Anyone looking forward to trying out this mobile version of the game? You can download the iOS app here or the Android application here.
