This is a bit of news I missed earlier today. It has come to my attention that the Xbox One console doesn’t feature a composite or component video port on its back side. That means it is HDMI only.
While I would not be effected by this I know plenty of low-income households that would. But the many other issues the Xbox One has going for it (needs to be online once a day, may/may not play used games without a fee, no 360 compatibility) are likely to be more damaging to its chances of success than being HDMI only.
Hopefully I’m mistaken but I don’t see any port on the back of the machine that looks like it could be for composite/component video. Let us know in the comments what you think of this!Xbox One will be HDMI only, won't work on non-HDTVs,
