Nintendo refunding Club Nintendo coins to Wii U owners for Super Metroid

Wii U owners who used Club Nintendo coins to get Super Metroid for free recently are receiving a coin refund from Nintendo. Nintendo is doing this because Super Metroid will be on sale on the eShop for 30 cents later this month.

So if you want to get Super Metroid for free go to Club Nintendo, redeem the game for 150 coins and then Nintendo will give you 150 CN coins to compensate you.

I’d imagine a lot of Club Nintendo members are aware that Super Metroid will be only 30 cents soon but this is a nice gesture from Nintendo nonetheless.
