You thought you had to wait until E3 to see a brand new Mario Kart game in action? Think again!
Mario Kart: Arcade Grand Prix DX is coming to arcades in Japan this summer! I bet that wasn’t the new Mario Kart game you were thinking about. It has your normal grand prix mode, two player modes, as well as four competitive game modes. The game is a collaboration between Nintendo and Namco Bandai games.
This is a huge surprise to me. I didn’t know the arcade version of Mario Kart was popular anywhere. I guess I was wrong.
That said this isn’t the type of “new” Mario Kart announcements I was hoping for. I guess we’ll have to wait until E3 to see Mario Kart U in action then. I suppose this is a nice bonus for those who might play it in Japan.
