Ken Levine: ‘Nothing I can do’ for Bioshock on PS Vita

Ken Levine told IGN in an interview that he would love to start working on Bioshock Vita but there is one important thing holding him back from doing so:

“I’ve got my fingers crossed that that’s going to happen because it’s something I want to do but until somebody starts signing the checks, there’s nothing I can do.”

I really can’t believe Sony would focus a portion of their E3 presentation on Bioshock coming to the Vita if the game is nowhere near even the earliest stages of development. After the infamous vanishing Resident Evil PSP announcement you’d think they’d wait until they had something solid before they promise a big game like this.

Hopefully we see Bioshock on the Vita, in an exclusive, original and exciting adventure at some point in the future even if it isn’t anytime soon.
