The Wii U might have some relief coming to it in Japan at the end of March.
Square Enix has revealed that the Dragon Quest X beta will begin on March 6th on the Wii U, and that the full game will ship in Japan on March 30th.
Not only that, but a new system bundle with the game will hit stores too. The bundle will include the 32GB Deluxe Set, Pro Controller, Dragon Quest X, $10 in credit and an in-game item.
I’m not sure how much of an impact this game will have for the Wii U. I’d imagine everyone who wanted it in the first place bought it months ago on the Wii. Still, it should provide Nintendo’s new console some boost as it struggles to stay above 10k units per week in Japan.
