Hideo Kojima hints at MGS: Ground Zeroes on next-gen consoles, says we’ll see these consoles ‘sooner than you think’
Speaking in an interview, Hideo Kojima hinted at the possibility of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes moving to next-gen consoles. I have been calling this since the game was revealed due to the fact that MGS games tend to take a long time to develop.
Kojima said he couldn’t talk about whether Ground Zeroes would end up on next-gen consoles from Sony/Microsoft. When he was pressed about these new consoles and the idea that more information about Ground Zeroes will coincide with the reveals of those next-gen systems Kojima replied, ” We will see about this one day… Maybe sooner than you think.”
Seems like Kojima is hinting at Ground Zeroes moving to next-gen consoles. Perhaps an up-port to take advantage of those rumored eight-core CPUs and 4GB-8GB RAM? I’d be down for that, as I assume many of you would be too.
Or this could mean nothing at all. Kojima is known to troll his own fans from time to time, and perhaps he’s doing it again. We’ll have to wait and see. The comment “sooner than you think” in reference to new consoles leads me to believe Kojima knows that at least one of these new consoles from MS/Sony will be revealed before E3.
