Nintendo announced this morning that Pikmin 3 has fallen out of the Wii U’s launch window and will now ship during Q2 2013. That means we’ll be playing Olimar’s next adventure between April and June of next year!
I would imagine an early June release date marking the anniversary of Pikmin 2′s release on the Wii will happen. Also they’d be able to boast about the game and use it to fill some time during their E3 presentation if need be.
I personally can’t wait to play the next Pikmin game and it’s been far too long since a new one has been made available. At least now instead of having a 5 month launch window we can now look forward to playing it sometime within a 3 month time frame!
