Ubisoft partnering with French Government to develop next-generation game
Ubisoft has announced that they have received $18.5 million from the French Government to develop a next-generation game for the PS4/Xbox 720.
They hope to attract jobs to France and lead the way for next-generation game development.
“Mango” is the current code name for the project. Ubisoft says to expect the game to wrap up development some time in the next 22 months. This isn’t to say that next-gen consoles won’t arrive until about 22 months from now, just that the game isn’t due until then.
