The NPD released their monthly sales data report on video game hardware.
Microsoft’s Xbox 360 takes the top spot yet again and Madden NFL 13 leads all SKUs with the most software sold. Michael Patcher confirmed that 3DS software sales are up 89% which is likely due to New Super Mario Bros 2.
The Xbox 360 shifted 270k units and took roughly 49% of marketshare for the month so it will hold it’s number one spot for the month.
There is no hard numbers for non-Xbox consoles but it’s looking like the 3DS should be around 210k if not more, the PS Vita looks to be below 50k again. The PS3 is above 200k while the Wii continues to rank in between 65k-75k.
