Kingdom Hearts 3D, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy get US release dates
They’ve saved the 3DS from a potential summer games drought by announcing that Theatrhythm Final Fantasy will be out July 3rd, and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream, Drop, Distance will be out July 31st. Considering it’s taking less than six months to localize these games for the US that must be a world record or something.
Square Enix is also bringing N-Space’s epic co-op action RPG Heroes of Ruin to the Nintendo 3DS on June 26. So within a span of 36 days (six weeks) the 3DS gets some major support from Square Enix while the PS Vita has, a remake of an old PS2 game that is a port of the remade version on the PS3.
Yea, the 3DS is getting the better end of the stick. This does mean some bad news potentially. Square Enix has made nary a peep about bring Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime 3 to the US. The last Rocket Slime came out in the US and if you haven’t played it you really should. It is one of the most fun, addicting games in recent memory. It’s sequel, filled with pirate ships and online battles released late last year in Japan but hasn’t even been mentioned for the US.
You win some and you lose some, right?
