Get 3D Classics: Kid Icarus free when you reserve Kid Icarus: Uprising

(Jan. 20, 2012) — If you were on the fence about picking up the reboot of Kid Icarus in March for the Nintendo 3DS, then this will probably put you over the fence. Nintendo of America has announced that customers who pre-order Kid Icarus: Uprising, which comes out March 23rd in North America, will receive 3D Classics: Kid Icarus for free.
This is especially a good idea considering most of the people who are going to buy Kid Icarus: Uprising probably have never played the original. Uprising features on rails shooter game play similar to Star Fox 64 3D and Sin & Punishment. It also has land segments where you can control Pit and fight epic bosses that take up the entire 3DS top screen.
Uprising also will support the Circle Pad Pro for left handed players, as well as online play for a 6 player versus mode. Nintendo of American hasn’t clarified which retailers will support this but you can bet GameStop is in on it.
